Law or Laws definition

Law or Laws means in respect of the United States and any other country, all published Laws, statutes, codes, ordinances, decrees, rules, regulations, by-laws, judicial or arbitral or administrative or ministerial or departmental or regulatory, judgments, orders, decisions rulings or awards, including several principles of common and civil Law and conditions or any grant of approval, permission, authority or license of any court, Governmental Authority, statutory body or self regulatory authority.
Law or Laws means the Law on Enterprises and all other applicable laws, decrees, decisions, circulars, regulations and other documents having the effect of Law issued by any State Authority (as the same may be amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time) and which are applicable to the Company’s establishment and operation.
Law or Laws means (a) any statute, law, code, regulation, ordinance, rule or common law, (b) any binding judgment (other than regarding a Claim or Dispute), (c) any binding judicial or administrative order or decree (other than regarding a Claim or Dispute), (d) any written directive, guideline, policy requirement or other governmental restriction (including those resulting from the initiative or referendum process, but excluding those by TxDOT within the scope of its administration of the CMC Documents) or (e) any similar form of decision of or determination by, or any written interpretation or administration of any of the foregoing by, any Governmental Entity, in each case which is applicable to or has an impact on the Project or the Maintenance Services, whether taking effect before or after the Proposal Due Date, including Environmental Laws. “Law” or “Laws,” however, exclude Governmental Approvals. Lead Maintenance Firm is defined in the CMA.

  • Seller and Seller’s Predecessors are not a party to or bound by any order, and have not entered into any agreement with any Person, regarding any remedial action or environmental Liability or expense with respect to the Cinema, or in connection with any Liability under any Environmental Law or Laws for which Buyer would be liable after Closing.

  • If any “fair price”, “moratorium”, “control share acquisition”, “interested stockholder” or other applicable anti-takeover Law (including Section 203 of the DGCL) becomes or is deemed to be applicable to this Agreement or the Transactions, then the Company Board shall grant such approvals and take such actions as are necessary so that the Transactions may be consummated as promptly as practicable on the terms contemplated hereby and otherwise act to render such Law or Laws inapplicable to the foregoing.


More Definitions of Law or Laws

Law or Laws means (i) all law applicable in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; and (ii) any regulatory policies, guidelines or industry codes which apply to the operation and maintenance of the Solar PV System pursuant to this Agreement; and (iii) any directions, rules or regulations issued by any competent or regulatory authorities.

Law or Laws means, in respect to Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and any other country, all published laws, statutes, codes, ordinances, decrees, rules, regulations, by-laws, judicial or arbitral or administrative or ministerial or departmental or regulatory judgements, orders, decisions, rulings or awards, including general principles of common and civil law, and conditions of any grant of approval, permission, authority or license of any court, Governmental Authority, statutory body or self-regulatory authority, and the term "applicable" with respect to those laws and in the context that refers to one or more Persons, that those Laws apply to that Person or Persons or its or their business, undertaking, property or securities.
