Major Error definition

Major Error means any demonstrable Error in the Product that: (a) causes the Product to have a significant loss of intended function as set forth in the specifications for the Product; (b) causes or is likely to cause data to be lost or destroyed; or (c) prevents the Product from being installed or executed on the properly configured environment.
Major Error means a Software Error that prevents Licensee to use a non-critical function of the Software and strongly affects Users’ workflow and processes.
Major Error means when the combined total of all errors and the impacts thereof substantially alters the amount of equity or the amount of technical provisions in the manner and to the extent set forth in the accounting policy, rendering - in consequence - any financial, income and earnings figures already disclosed misleading. It shall be treated as a major error, without exception, if the error results in a variation of at least 20 per cent (whether negative or positive) in the amount of equity shown in the balance sheet for the financial year preceding the year in which the error was discovered, or if it alters the amount of any particular type of technical provision by 3 per cent or more of the balance sheet total of the financial year preceding the year in which the error was discovered;

  • Dialogic will reclassify a Major Error as a Minor Error if there is a suitable Workaround with adequate documentation.

  • If the Error, for which the Support Request was placed, does (in the sole discretion of the Company) relate to the System, the Company shall: (i) classify such Error as Fatal Error, Major Error, or Minor Error and (ii) provide Partner with subsequent follow up in accordance with the service levels detailed in the Annex to this Schedule.

  • Loss of the system’s ability to provide any required Critical or Major Error notification.

More Definitions of Major Error

Major Error means any Software or Firmware Error that causes one or more material components to fail to function as specified in its applicable Documentation.
Major Error means if, in the year when discovered by any form of audit, the absolute value of all errors (whether negative or positive) in the aggregate for a given financial year (separately for each year) and the impacts thereof - increasing or decreasing the profit or loss or the equity - exceeds the value limit set out in the accounting policy. Errors shall be construed as major in all cases if, in the year when discovered by audit, absolute value of all errors (whether negative or positive) in the aggregate for the same year and the aftereffects thereof - increasing or decreasing the equity - exceeds 2 per cent of the balance sheet total of the financial year audited, or one million forints, if such 2 per cent of the balance sheet total does not exceed one million forints;
Major Error means (i) a failure of the Software to substantially conform to the Specifications and/or Documentation governing such Software, which failure materially impacts the operational or functional performance of such Software or the Filtering Functionality, or (ii) any defect, bug, inefficiency or error that renders the Software inoperative, causes it to fail catastrophically, or prevents Microsoft from using the Software or Filtering Functionality in the normal business operations contemplated by this Agreement.
Major Error means a substantial deviation from accuracy or correctness. Major errors include but are not limited to:
Major Error means an error or non-conformance that constitutes a material departure from the specifications or the applicable Statement of Work, or which is causing or threatening to cause a disruption in the normal course of business or operations of MCS.

Major Error means the SaaS Product, Component and/or Services or a critical part thereof is unavailable with no bypass or workaround, or with a bypass or workaround that is intolerable or has major impact on the Customer’s ability to conduct its business.
