Mandatory release definition
Mandatory release means release of an inmate from the institution to supervision as required by s. 302.11, Stats., if not granted discretionary parole or special action release earlier.
Mandatory release or “MR” means the release of an inmate by the department to community supervision as provided under s. 302.11 (1), Stats.
