Marijuana regulatory agency definition

Marijuana regulatory agency means the marijuana regulatory agency created under Executive Reorganization Order No. 2019-2, MCL 333.27001.
Marijuana regulatory agency or "Agency" means a Type I agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (the "Department") with the powers as set out in MCL 333.27001, including but not limited to all of the authorities, powers, duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Department, including its Bureau of Marihuana Regulation, under the MRTMA, 2018 IL 1, MCL 333.27951 to 333.27967.

  • Regulatory Agency means any federal or state agency charged with the supervision or regulation of depositary institutions or holding companies of depositary institutions, or engaged in the insurance of depositary institution deposits, or any court, administrative agency or commission or other authority, body or agency having supervisory or regulatory authority with respect to the Company or any of its subsidiaries.

  • Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) means the Government Agency responsible for oversight of public procurement.

  • FDA means the United States Food and Drug Administration, or any successor agency thereto.

  • Regulatory Authority means any applicable supra-national, federal, national, regional, state, provincial, or local governmental or regulatory agencies, departments, bureaus, commissions, councils, or other government entities (e.g., the FDA and EMA) regulating or otherwise exercising authority with respect to activities contemplated in this Agreement, including the Exploitation of Products.

  • Franchising Authority means any Governmental Authority authorized by any federal, state or local law to grant a Franchise or to exercise jurisdiction over the rates or services provided by a cable television system pursuant to a Franchise or over Persons holding a Franchise.

  • Public safety agency means a functional division of a public agency, county, or the state that provides fire fighting, law enforcement, ambulance, medical, or other emergency services.

  • Home health agency means a person certified by medicare whose business is to provide to individuals in their places of residence other than in a hospital, nursing home, or county medical care facility 1 or more of the following services: nursing services, therapeutic services, social work services, homemaker services, home health aide services, or other related services.

  • Marijuana retailer means a person who sells marijuana items to a consumer in this state.
