Mortgage-Related Securities definition

Mortgage-Related Securities means securities where the cash flows received are based on the difference between the interest payments received on a pool of Mortgages and the cost of financing the pool of Mortgages (or otherwise based on the residual interest in such pools after the costs of operating and funding the pools).

  • Original Mortgage Loan The mortgage loan refinanced in connection with the origination of a Refinancing Mortgage Loan.

  • Escrowed Securities means the direct, noncallable obligations of the United States of America, as described in the Escrow Agreement.

  • Rated Securities means each Class of Securities that has been rated by one or both Rating Agencies at the request of the Seller.

  • Purchased Mortgage Loans means the collective reference to Mortgage Loans sold by Seller to Buyer in a Transaction hereunder, listed on the related Mortgage Loan Schedule attached to the related Transaction Request, which such Mortgage Loans the Custodian has been instructed to hold pursuant to the Custodial Agreement.
