Mother Xxxxxxx clause contained in Paragraph 1 is for the purpose of including small strips of land contiguous to the land leased herein which are owned by Lessor that may have been inadvertently missed via the attached description and will not permit an unreasonable extension of the lands to be covered by said Lease. To the extent that said strips increase the total leased acreage herein, said acreage amount shall include and add to the total acreage of this Lease for the purpose of the payment of annual delay rental and shut-in royalty.

• The First Refusal may be exercised only by actual delivery to Mother Xxxxxxx, prior to the termination of the time period, of a notice of exercise.

• At the closing, Mother Xxxxxxx shall deliver to PPI duly executed instruments transferring Mother Xxxxxxx’s Partnership interest to PPI against payment of the purchase price by a delivery of a check or wire transfer of funds to an account designated by Mother Xxxxxxx.
