Moving Allowance definition

Moving Allowance. With the prior approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee concerning reimbursable costs, employees involuntarily transferred to a new job location fifty miles or more from the employee’s old residence than the old residence was from the old job location shall be reimbursed for receipted moving expenses, as provided in the IRS guidelines. For the purposes of this section, promotions and the exercise of any bumping option shall be considered as a voluntary transfer. Notwithstanding the above, at the discretion of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee, employees may be reimbursed for moving expenses. The Employer may implement moving allowances for new hires. Such allowances are intended for new hires only and shall apply only to teammates who are hired from out of the State of Nebraska or who live two-hundred or more miles from the facility in which they are to be assigned. Such allowances may exceed the actual cost of moving.
Moving Allowance. Landlord will provide Tenant with a moving allowance (the “Moving Allowance”) of One Dollar ($1.00) per square foot which is Thirty Six Thousand Three Hundred Forty-four Dollars ($36,344.00) Landlord will pay Tenant the Moving Allowance within thirty (30) days of the Commencement Date.
Moving Allowance. Any unused portion of the Allowance that is in excess of the Moving Allowance shall accrue to the sole benefit of Landlord, it being understood and agreed that Tenant shall not be entitled to receive any credit or abatement in connection therewith. Landlord shall disburse the Moving Allowance, or applicable portion thereof, to Tenant within forty-five (45) days after receipt of paid invoices from Tenant with respect to Tenant's actual Moving and Relocation Costs.

  • In addition to the Work Allowance and the Moving Allowance, Sublessor has agreed to and paid $0.10 per square foot toward the cost of a test fit with Sublessee’s architect.

  • The Moving Allowance for Subleased Premises A shall be paid by Sublessor directly to Sublessee within 30 days of the Commencement Date.

More Definitions of Moving Allowance

Moving Allowance. As provided in Section 18 of the Lease.
Moving Allowance. The Superintendent will receive reimbursement of relocation and moving expenses up to $10,000. Receipts for requested reimbursements must be submitted to the Executive Director of Financial Services. All reimbursement requests must be submitted by December 31, 2024. DISCHARGE: The Superintendent agrees to devote his/her time, skill, labor and attention to the duties of the Superintendent of the School District. During the term of this agreement, the Superintendent will be subject to discharge for cause, provided, however, that the Board shall comply with conditions of the contract and applicable provisions provided by Washington State law.
Moving Allowance means the Moving Allowance as that term is defined in Section 44 hereof.
Moving Allowance shall be deleted in its entirety and the following inserted:
Moving Allowance. Lessee will be given an allowance of $250.00 for moving expenses from the temporary space to the primary space.
