National Plumbing Code definition

National Plumbing Code or “NPC” means the National Plumbing Code of Canada, as adopted under Section 4;
National Plumbing Code means the National Plumbing Code adopted by Lieutenant Governor in Council by regulation pursuant to The Buildings and Mobile Homes Act and adopted by the Winnipeg Building By-law.

  • This item shall consist of furnishing all materials, tools, equipment and fixtures required as shown on the Plans for the satisfactory performance for the entire plumbing system including installation in accordance with the latest edition of the National Plumbing Code, and this Specification.

  • The International Plumbing Code (IPC)), IAPMO – UPC and National Plumbing Code of Canada (NRC Codes of Canada) have developed plumbing codes, which are also useful to refer to when procuring and installing water system products.

  • Roof drains and overflow drains, when concealed within the construction of the building, shall be installed in accordance with the provisions of the National Plumbing Code.

  • National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) means the national program for issuing, modifying, revoking and reissuing, terminating, monitoring, and enforcing permits and imposing and enforcing pretreatment requirements, under Sections 307, 318, 402, and 405 of CWA. The term includes an approved program.

  • Building or housing code means any law, ordinance or governmental regulation concerning fitness

  • 1954 Code means the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended.

  • Plumbing fixture means a receptacle or device that is permanently or temporarily connected to the water distribution system of the premises and demands a supply of water from the system; or discharges used water, waste materials, or sewage directly or indirectly to the drainage system of the premises.

  • National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System means the national program for issuing, modifying, revoking and reissuing, terminating, monitoring and enforcing permits, and imposing and enforcing pretreatment requirements under Sections 307, 402, 318, and 405 of the Clean Water Act.

  • Metering Code means the Metering Code prepared by the Board andapproved by the Commission, as from time to time revised, amended, supplemented or replaced with the approval of, or at the instance of, the Commission;

  • National Flood Insurance Program means the program created by the U.S. Congress pursuant to the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 and the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, as revised by the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994, that mandates the purchase of flood insurance to cover real property improvements located in Special Flood Hazard Areas in participating communities and provides protection to property owners through a Federal insurance program.

  • Regulation Zone means any of those one or more geographic areas, each consisting of a combination of one or more Control Zone(s) as designated by the Office of the Interconnection in the PJM Manuals, relevant to provision of, and requirements for, regulation service.

  • Wellhead protection area means the surface and subsurface area surrounding a water well or well field that supplies a public water system through which contaminants are reasonably likely to migrate toward the water well or well field.

  • Privacy Regulations means the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 as amended in 2004, 2011, 2015 and 2016 and as may be further amended from time to time;

  • National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit or “NPDES” means a permit issued by the MPCA as required by federal law for the purpose of regulating the discharge of pollutants from point sources into waters of the United States from concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) as defined by federal law

  • Commercial sex act means any sex act on account of which anything of value is given to or received by any person.

  • Underground source of drinking water means an aquifer or its portion:

  • JORC Code means the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves prepared by the Joint Ore Reserves Committee of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Australian Institute of Geoscientists and Minerals Council of Australia, as amended;

  • Plumbing system means water supply distribution and disposal piping on the premises, including appliances and equipment attached thereto, between their connection points to a public or private system.

  • Flood Insurance Regulations means (a) the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (b) the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (c) the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 (amending 42 USC § 4001, et seq.), as the same may be amended or recodified from time to time, and (d) the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 and any regulations promulgated thereunder.

  • Uniform Network Code means the uniform network code as defined in Standard Special Condition A11(6) of National Grid’s transporters licence, as such code may be amended from time to time in accordance with the terms thereof.
