Natural Gas Rights definition

Natural Gas Rights means the entire right, title, estate and interest of the Corporation in and to the Leases and the Lands set forth and described in Schedule "B", as encumbered by the Permitted Encumbrances;

  • Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the Grantor shall be entitled to enter into farmout agreements with any Person in respect of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights comprised in the Properties, whereby such Person may acquire an interest in such Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights in exchange for the payment of capital costs, or other consideration, incurred with a view to exploit such Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights.

  • Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the Grantor shall have full right, power and authority to pool or unitize any of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights comprised in the Properties with any other Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights without the prior consent of the Royalty Owner, provided that the Grantor, acting in a reasonable and prudent manner, determines that the pooling or unitization and the terms thereof are in accordance with prudent oil and gas industry practises.

  • Upon the date on which any Person earns any interest in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights comprised in the Properties pursuant to such a farmout agreement, the interest in the portion of the Royalty to the extent it is calculated with reference to production from or otherwise relates to such Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights shall merge in the interest in such Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights and such interest in the Royalty shall thereupon terminate.

  • The adjustments shall constitute an increase or decrease, as the case may be, to the Purchase Price and to the amount allocated to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights.

  • Any Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights, other than Royalty Interests retained by or acquired by the Grantor pursuant to such farmout shall be subject to the NPI.

  • Subject to Article 11, this agreement shall continue in full force and effect for so long as there are Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights to which the NPI applies.

  • Compensatory education is a common remedy among school districts to make sure children with disabilities are provided with their constitutional right to an appropriate education.

  • Petroleum and Natural Gas Rights means the Vendor’s entire interest in those Petroleum Substances underlying the Lands in the respective formations to the extent that the same are described in Schedule “A” and are granted by the Leases, subject to the Permitted Encumbrances, and includes the interest and right of the Vendor in any lands or leases with which those Petroleum Substances have been pooled or unitized;

  • Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;

  • Natural gas company ’ means a person engaged in the transportation of natural gas in interstate commerce, or the sale in inter- state commerce of such gas for resale.

  • Natural uranium means uranium with the naturally occurring distribution of uranium isotopes, which is approximately 0.711 weight percent uranium-235, and the remainder by weight essentially uranium-238.

  • Natural Gas or “Gas” means wet gas, dry gas, all other gaseous hydrocarbons, and all substances contained therein, including sulphur and helium, which are produced from oil or gas xxxxx, excluding those condensed or extracted liquid hydrocarbons that are liquid at normal temperature and pressure conditions, and including the residue Gas remaining after the condensation or extraction of liquid hydrocarbons from Gas such that any Gas sold under this Agreement shall be of the quality as indicated in Clause 7.

  • Natural gas utility means an investor-owned business engaged in the sale and distribution of natural gas within this state whose rates are regulated by the commission.

  • Liquefied petroleum gas means a mixture of light hydrocarbons (predominantly propane, butane) that is gaseous under conditions of ambient temperature and pressure and that is maintained in a liquid state by an increase of pressure or lowering of temperature;

  • Liquefied natural gas or “LNG” means natural gas that has been liquefied.

  • Oil means petroleum in any form including crude oil, fuel oil, sludge, oil refuse and refined products (other than petrochemicals which are subject to the provisions of Annex II of the present Convention) and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, includes the substances listed in Appendix I to this Annex.

  • greenhouse gas emissions means emissions in terms of tonnes of CO2 equivalent of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorcarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) determined pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 525/2013 and falling within the scope of this Regulation;

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Gas well means a well producing gas or natural gas from a common source of gas supply as determined by the commission.

  • Energy Transmission Injection Rights means the rights to schedule energy deliveries at a specified point on the Transmission System. Energy Transmission Injection Rights may be awarded only to a Merchant D.C. Transmission Facility that connects the Transmission System to another control area. Deliveries scheduled using Energy Transmission Injection Rights have rights similar to those under Non-Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service.

  • Hydroelectric energy means water used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Surface Rights is defined in Section 2.2(h).

  • Natural environment means the air, land and water, or any combination or part thereof, of the Province of Ontario; (“environnement naturel”)

  • Compressed natural gas means a mixture of hydrocarbon gases and vapors that consists primarily of methane in gaseous form that has been compressed for use as a fuel to propel a motor vehicle.

  • Acid rain emissions limitation means, as defined in 40 CFR 72.2*, a limitation on emissions of sulfur dioxide or nitrogen oxides under the acid rain program under Title IV of the Clean Air Act (CAA).

  • Petroleum means the crude oil removed from the earth and the oils derived from tar sands, shale, and coal.

  • CO2 means carbon dioxide.

  • Gas Transporter means the licensed operator of the transportation network through which gas is transported to you;

  • Transportation Company means any organization which provides its own or its leased vehicles for transportation or which provides freight forwarding or air express services.

  • Gaseous pollutants means the exhaust gas emissions of carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen expressed in nitrogen dioxide (NO2) equivalent and hydrocarbons assuming ratio of:

  • Transport Gas means the gas purchased by a Customer from a supplier other than KUB that Customer has arranged to have Delivered to KUB for delivery to the Customer by KUB.

  • Emissions unit means any part or activity of a stationary source that emits or has the potential to emit any regulated air pollutant or any pollutant listed under Section 7412(b) of the FCAA. This term is not meant to alter or affect the definition of the term "unit" for purposes of Title IV of the FCAA.

  • Waste oil means used or spent oil or solvents or other volatile hydrocarbons, including but not limited to crankcase oil.
