Notional Account definition

Notional Account means the notional account established by the Corporation or the Administrative Agent for a Non-Vested Participant pursuant to Section 6.01.
Notional Account means the recordkeeping device used by the Corporation to account for the notional amounts to be credited to the Participant under the Plan as described in Section 3.02.
Notional Account means the record-keeping device used by the Corporation to measure and determine the amounts to be paid to a Participant under the Plan. Separate Notional Accounts will be established for each Participant and as may be otherwise required. Notional Accounts shall be deemed to be credited with Notional gains or losses as provided in Section 3.06 from the date a Supplemental Retirement Contribution is credited in accordance with Section 3.03 through the Valuation Date.

Examples of Notional Account in a sentence

  • Changes to indexing as described in this section are subject to the condition precedent that the Notional Account will be eliminated for all members and former members and confirmation thereof.

  • In the absence of such an amendment and elimination of the Notional Account, the pensions of members and former members who immediately prior to termination of employment were members of The Society will be increased by 100% of the increase in the CPI effective January 1, 1999 and January 1, 2000 and the cost of such indexing shall be charged to the Notional Account in the same way as was done in respect of the increase on January 1, 1998.
