Oncology Field definition

Oncology Field means all oncology Indications as defined in subsections 140 — 239 (Neoplasms) of the International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM), including all hematologic malignancies, solid tumors and myeloproliferative diseases (including myelofibrosis, polycythemia rubra ▇▇▇▇ and essential thrombocythemia) as listed in ICD-9-CM.
Oncology Field means (a) the treatment, prevention, palliation, or prophylaxis in humans of cancer, and (b) companion diagnostics specific to any Product Candidate or Product. The Oncology Field does not include vaccines.
Oncology Field means the treatment, prevention and/or diagnosis of oncologic and malignant hematologic conditions in humans, including myelodysplastic syndrome and other myeloproliferative disorders.

  • Subject to Section 13.6.6, upon the termination of this Agreement in whole or with respect to either the Oncology Field or the Non-Oncology Field, Licensee shall discontinue the manufacture, use, marketing, sale and distribution of all Licensed Products that Licensee is no longer licensed to manufacture, use, market, sell or distribute.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Biogen Idec shall have the sole and exclusive right, at its own expense, to Prosecute any divisionals, continuations, or continuations-in-part of the BIIB062 Patents whose claims do not cover the use of BIIB062 in the Oncology Field, using the counsel that is mutually agreed upon by the Parties under this Section and under the conditions set forth for Prosecution by Sunesis in this Section, mutatis mutandis.

  • During the Discovery Term for each Collaboration Target and the Discovery Program that is directed to such Collaboration Target, the Discovery Plan shall specify that the primary Target Indication for such Collaboration Target, and the Discovery Program shall be in the Oncology Field (it being understood that after the Discovery Term, the Development Plan for any Licensed Program may specify other Target Indications outside of the Oncology Field).

  • This Agreement will commence upon the Effective Date and, except to the extent terminated pursuant to this ARTICLE XIII, shall continue in full force and effect on a Sub- Field-by-Sub-Field basis (i.e., for the Cardiovascular Field, CNS Field and Oncology Field) until none of Cephalon, its Affiliates or Marketing Partners is Developing or Commercializing a Product in the Territory in such Sub-Field.

Oncology Field means the diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation or prevention of an Indication characterized by abnormal cellular proliferation, including solid or liquid malignancies (including primary and metastatic tumors), lymphoid and myeloid proliferative disorders (including myelodysplastic syndrome and myelofibrosis), and hematopoietic control or dysregulations. For clarity, “Oncology Field” (a) includes cancer immunotherapy and immuno-oncology and (b) does not include NASH or the treatment of fibrosis for or in any organ (e.g. that could be seen as prevention of malignancy, for instance, HCC), but does include the treatment of desmoplastic tumors (e.g., that could be seen as malignancies with a fibrotic component).
Oncology Field means the treatment, control, mitigation, prevention or cure or diagnosis of any oncology Indications or any dysplastic syndromes or states (e.g., MDS).
Oncology Field means all uses for oncology diseases, disorders or conditions in humans, including prophylactic or therapeutic treatment, delay or prevention of any oncology diseases, disorders or conditions in humans.
Oncology Field means the treatment of cancer.
