Oncology Field definition

Oncology Field means all oncology Indications as defined in subsections 140 — 239 (Neoplasms) of the International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM), including all hematologic malignancies, solid tumors and myeloproliferative diseases (including myelofibrosis, polycythemia rubra xxxx and essential thrombocythemia) as listed in ICD-9-CM.
Oncology Field means (a) the treatment, prevention, palliation, or prophylaxis in humans of cancer, and (b) companion diagnostics specific to any Product Candidate or Product. The Oncology Field does not include vaccines.
Oncology Field means the treatment, prevention and/or diagnosis of oncologic and malignant hematologic conditions in humans, including myelodysplastic syndrome and other myeloproliferative disorders.

Examples of Oncology Field in a sentence

  • Following the Effective Date, the Parties will use their respective reasonable best efforts to negotiate and finalize an initial Development Plan in respect of the Oncology Field as promptly as practicable, and in any event, within sixty (60) days following the Effective Date.

  • Care recipients receive information about their rights to exercise choice and control through information handbooks, care recipient agreements, meetings and newsletters.

  • This Agreement will commence upon the Effective Date and, except to the extent terminated pursuant to this ARTICLE XIII, shall continue in full force and effect on a Sub-Field-by-Sub-Field basis (i.e., for the Cardiovascular Field, CNS Field and Oncology Field) until none of Cephalon, its Affiliates or Marketing Partners is Developing or Commercializing a Product in the Territory in such Sub-Field.
