Open Source License Terms definition

Open Source License Terms means any terms or conditions which meet the definition of Open Source found at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx/docs/osd.
Open Source License Terms means terms in any license agreement or license grant that require, as a condition of use, modification and/or distribution of a work: i. the making available of Source Code, design descriptions or other materials for modification, or ii. the granting of permission for creating derivative works, or iii. the reproduction of certain notices or license terms in derivative works or accompanying documentation, or iv. the granting of a royalty-free license to any party under intellectual property rights regarding the work and/or any work that contains, is combined with, requires, or otherwise is based on the work.
Open Source License Terms means terms in any license for software that, as a condition of use, copying, modification or redistribution, require such software and/or derivative works thereof to be disclosed or distributed in source code form, to be licensed for the purpose of making derivative works, or to be distributed free of charge, including without limitation software distributed under the GPL (GNU General Public License) or LGPL (GNU Lesser Library GPL); (xiii) “Open-Source Software” means any software that contains or is derived in any manner (in whole or in part) from any software, code or libraries that are distributed as free software or as open source software or under any licensing or distribution models similar to open source, including (a) software licensed or distributed under any of the following licenses or distribution models, or licenses or distribution models similar to the following: the Artistic License, the BSD License, the Apache License, the Mozilla Public License, the GNU General Public License (GPL) or Lesser/Library GPL, or the Sun Community Source License or (b) any other license or distribution model which seeks to require any party which uses, modifies or distributes such software, code or libraries to make such software, code or libraries (or modification or derivative work thereof) or any other software, code or libraries which may be combined with or linked thereto available in source code form or which may impose any other obligation or restriction with respect to such party’s Patent or other Intellectual Property Rights; (xiv) “Malware” means any programs, subroutines, code, instructions, data or functions (including viruses, worms, malware, date bombs, time bombs, logic bombs, disabling codes or instructions, shut-down devices or code, counter devices or devices intended to collect data regarding usage or related statistics, spyware, Trojan horses, trap doors, back doors, Easter eggs, cancelbots, keys, authorization codes, or passwords) that could be used to, (a) access, whether physically, electronically, remotely, or otherwise, (b) cease operating, or (c) damage, interrupt, interfere with or hinder the operation of or reduce or change the functionality of, any other Jabil products or services, including software or data; (xv) “personal data” means any information provided by or on behalf of Buyer to Supplier, relating to an identified or an identifiable natural person, or as otherwise defined under applicable Data Protection Legislation; and (...

Examples of Open Source License Terms in a sentence

  • If any part of the Software is subject to any Open Source License Terms, as indicated by separate Open Source License Terms provided with the Software, the use and the license of that part of the Software will be subject to those Open Source License Terms.

  • In the event of any contradiction or uncertainty between the license terms contained in this Agreement and the Open Source License Terms with respect to the portions of the Software governed by Open Source License Terms, the applicable Open Source License Terms will prevail.

More Definitions of Open Source License Terms

Open Source License Terms means license terms that require computer code to be generally (i) disclosed in source code form to third parties; (ii) licensed to third parties for the purpose of making derivative works; or (iii) redistributable to third parties at no charge;
