Other Compound definition

Other Compound means a Collaboration Compound that is not Target Selective against the Collaboration Target or any Target designated pursuant to the OCA as a “Collaboration Target” as defined therein.
Other Compound means, with respect to a Modified Cell, (a) any pharmaceutically or therapeutically active compound or molecule that is not within, on the cell surface of, or secreted by, such Modified Cell or (b) any pharmaceutically or therapeutically active cell that is not such Modified Cell or another Modified Cell.
Other Compound means that compound known as 2C6 anti-VEGF receptor monoclonal antibody (or any human, humanized or chimeric version thereof, or any substitute therefor).

More Definitions of Other Compound

Other Compound means (*).
Other Compound means any compound made under the Research Plan for a given Collaboration Target that does not satisfy the Compound Criteria as determined by the JRC and is not a Library Compound as of the Effective Date. An Other Compound includes all salts, polymorphs, metabolites, prodrugs, isomers, enantiomers and stereoisomers of such compound, in each case that do not satisfy the Compound Criteria and are not a Library Compound as of the Effective Date.
Other Compound means any compound other than any GLP-2 Analogue Compound.
Other Compound means a small molecule ligand that the JSC agrees to include in the Collaboration that is publicly known to bind to, inhibit or modulate or to be likely to bind to, inhibit or modulate, the OSIP Target to which it is intended to be bound under the Collaboration.
Other Compound means any Other Protein Variant that (i) is owned or Controlled by CPC as of the Effective Date, including those Other Protein Variants described on Exhibit 1.29 (each, an “Existing Compound”) or (ii) is discovered, conceived, or first reduced to practice by, for, or on behalf of CPC (solely or jointly with others) during the Term (each, a “New Compound”). For the avoidance of doubt, Other Compounds exclude Other Protein Variants proprietary to Astellas (e.g., for which Astellas owns or Controls Patents or Know-How that cover such Other Protein Variants or formulations thereof) (i) that are discovered, acquired, conceived, or first reduced to practice by, for, or on behalf of Astellas prior to the Effective Date, or (ii) that are discovered, acquired, conceived, or first reduced to practice by, for, or on behalf of Astellas, independently of CPC, during the Term (collectively, the “Astellas Compounds”), unless expressly added to the Agreement in writing in accordance with Section 5.4. For the avoidance of doubt, if any Existing Compound or New Compound is also a Astellas Compound, then such compound shall be included in this definition of Other Compound but any and all Know-How or Patents Controlled by Astellas independently of activities by or on behalf of Astellas under this Agreement with respect to such compound shall not be deemed included under Astellas Know-How or Astellas Patents for purposes of this Agreement, unless expressly added to the Agreement in writing in accordance with Section 5.4.

Other Compound means any compound that is (a) further developed or commercialized by or on behalf of Buyer or its Affiliate as a back-up to the Ento Compound or the Lanra Compound and (b) Covered by the Transferred Patent Rights; provided, that Other Compound does not include the Ento Compound or the Lanra Compound.
