- Overtime Premium and No Pyramiding. Subject to any superior conditions, the overtime rate shall be time and one-half (1-1/2) the employee's straight-time hourly rate. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid.

The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within sixty (60) calendar days. Pay Employees who report for any scheduled shift will be guaranteed at least four (4) hours of work, or if no work is available will be paid at least four (4) hours except when work is not available due to conditions beyond the control of the Hospital. The reporting allowance outlined as herein shall not apply whenever an employee has received prior notice not to report for work. Part time employees scheduled to work less than hours per day will receive a amount of reporting pay. Call-Back Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift, and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours of work or four hours pay at the rate of time and one-half their regular hourly earnings. Superior provisions shall remain. Standby An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of per hour for all hours on standby. Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called in to work under Article above and works during the period of standby.

This shall not apply to part-time employees working less than 7 hours per day. Such employees shall receive a pro-rated reporting pay. Call Back Undefined Standby An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for the particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of per hour for all hours on standby. Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called into work under Article above and works during the period of standby.
