Patent Costs definition
Patent Costs means the reasonable fees and expenses paid to outside legal counsel, and filing, maintenance and other reasonable out-of-pocket expenses paid to Third Parties, incurred in connection with the Prosecution and Maintenance of Patent Rights.
Patent Costs means all out-of-pocket expenses for the preparation, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of all United States and foreign patents included in Patent Rights. Patent Costs shall also include reasonable out-of-pocket expenses for patentability opinions, inventorship determination, preparation and prosecution of patent application, re-examination, re-issue, interference, and opposition activities related to patents or applications in Patent Rights.
Patent Costs means all reasonable costs incident to filing, prosecuting and maintaining the patents associated with the Patent Rights in the United States and elected foreign countries, and any and all reasonable costs incurred in filing continuations, divisional applications or related applications thereon and any re-examinations or reissue proceedings thereof.
Examples of Patent Costs in a sentence
Each Party’s activities under this Section 11.11.1 shall be at its sole cost and expense except that each Party’s Out-of-Pocket Costs for such activities shall be Patent Costs.
Each Party’s activities under this Section 11.11.9 shall be at its sole cost and expense except that each Party’s Out-of-Pocket Costs for such activities shall be Patent Costs.

More Definitions of Patent Costs
Patent Costs means the costs and expenses incurred by a Party (including reasonable external attorneys’ fees) in the conduct of Patent Prosecution or Patent Defense activities, as the case may be, for which that Party is responsible in accordance with this Agreement.
