Pedestrian Zone definition

Pedestrian Zone means the area to provide continuous and unobstructed pathway.
Pedestrian Zone means the zone between the building face and the curb. The elements of a pedestrian zone are: the private frontage area, the pedestrian throughway area, and the furnishing area. See Figure [1.11] 1.10 (pedestrian zone treatment),
Pedestrian Zone means the area intended for pedestrian movement and requires at least a 2-metre space between the Frontage Zone and Furniture Zone to be clear of all obstacles, and parked Electric Kick Scooters at all times;

  • Furnishings Zone, the Through Pedestrian Zone, and the Frontage Zone, as defined by the Portland Pedestrian Design Guide.

  • Pedestrian Zone: An area officially designated by the University as a Pedestrian Zone.

More Definitions of Pedestrian Zone

Pedestrian Zone means a traffic area designed for pedestrian movement on which the movement of motor vehicles is not permitted, except for vehicles with special permission and marked with appropriate traffic signalization;
