Personal Equipment means prescription eyeglasses, contact lenses, and sunglasses, shoes or boots, and wristwatches. Any Employee who submits a claim under this Section shall submit such reasonable substantiation, as the Town shall require, of damage or destruction in the course of his/her duties and not merely claim that the loss, damage, or destruction occurred in the course of performing his/her duties. All claims of damage or lost personal equipment and the cost of the damaged or destroyed item shall be subject to approval by the Town which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
