If your Personal Possessions are not collected within one month after the date you leave the home, we reserve the right to provide 14 days’ notice to you or your personal representative of Crown Care Group’s intention to dispose of the Personal Possessions, which may include their re-sale.
Any reasonable costs associated with the disposal will be charged to you and any money obtained, if Personal Possessions are sold, will be credited to you once our costs have been deducted.
If You claim for loss or damage to Personal Possessions, We will at Our option repair, replace, reinstate or pay for any article lost or damaged.For total loss or destruction of any article We will pay You the cost of replacing the article as new, provided that the new article is as close as possible to but not an improvement on the original article when it was new.Please note that a deduction for wear and tear will apply to clothes, household linen and pedal cycles.
If You are under-insured, which means the cost of replacing or repairing the Personal Possessions at the time of the loss or damage is more than Your Sum Insured for the Personal Possessions, then We will only pay a proportion of the claim.For example, if Your Sum Insured only covers one half of the cost of replacing or repairing the Personal Possessions, Wewill only pay one half of the cost of repair or replacement.
The cost of the replacement, reinstatement or repair of Your Personal Possessions subject to wear and tear and depreciation.
Any loss or theft of Your Personal Possessions which are subsequently recovered.
Any claim if Your Personal Possessions are confiscated or detained by Customs, the Police or other authorities.
SINGLE ARTICLE LIMIT: Contents and Personal Possessions has a single article limit specified in the policy schedule.
