Plan of Assistance definition

Plan of Assistance means a written instrument provided to each employee who receives a less than a satisfactory evaluation.
Plan of Assistance. (POA) means a non-punitive plan implemented by a supervisor to improve an employee’s performance to an acceptable level.
Plan of Assistance. Means a written plan for a non-probationary ADMINISTRATOR with reasonable specificity: (a) identifies specific deficiencies in the non-probationary ADMINISTRATOR’S performance or conduct; (b) sets forth corrective steps the non-probationary ADMINISTRATOR may pursue to overcome or correct the deficiencies; and, (c) establishes the assessment techniques by which the district will measure and determine whether the ADMINISTRATOR has sufficiently corrected the deficiencies to meet district standards.

Examples of Plan of Assistance in a sentence

  • Any employee, who on July 1 is on a disciplinary probation or Plan of Assistance, shall not advance on the salary schedule.

  • Reassignments shall not be imposed for the purpose of resolving performance problems that should be addressed through a formal Plan of Assistance.

  • A teacher on a Plan of Assistance may not apply for a transfer until the teacher is removed from the Plan of Assistance.

  • During this time, the Plan of Assistance will be followed as written.

If, in addition to the above activities, an employee assistance program provides diagnostic and treatment services, these services shall in all cases be provided by the program.

  • Personal assistance services means a range of services including, among other things, training in managing, supervising, and directing personal assistance services, provided by one or more persons, that are designed to assist an individual with a disability to perform daily living activities on or off the job that the individual would typically perform without assistance if the individual did not have a disability. The services are also designed to increase the individual's control in life and ability to perform everyday activities on or off the job; necessary to the achievement of an employment outcome; and provided only while the individual is receiving other vocational rehabilitation services.

  • Adoption assistance means financial assistance provided to families adopting children with special needs. "Adoption assistance" may be state or federally funded. Federal adoption assistance is authorized by the Adoption Assistance and Child Welfare Act of 1980 (Pub. L. No. 96-272, 94 Stat. 500 (1980)). State adoption assistance is authorized by ORS 418.330 to 418.335.

  • Status with regard to public assistance means the condition of being a recipient of federal, state, or local assistance, including medical assistance, or of being a tenant receiving federal, state, or local subsidies, including rental assistance or rent supplements.
