Examples of Previous Balance in a sentence
The statement will include details of Charges (including Fees), Finance Charges, Statement Date, Previous Balance, Credits, Current Balance, Credit Limit, Credit Limit Available at Statement Date, Payment Due Date and Minimum Payment.
Previous Balance: The sum of all unpaid Purchases, Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, finance charges, late payment fees, and any other fees and charges at the beginning of the billing cycle (it is the same amount that was shown as “New Balance” on the closing date on the statement for the preceding billing cycle).
Holder shall pay Interest Charges as shown on Holder’s monthly statements, for each billing period in which there is a cash advance or the Previous Balance is not paid in full prior to the Closing Date of the billing statement.
Each month, if you have an outstanding balance, we will send you a statement showing new purchases, cash advances, payments, and credits made to your Account during the billing period, your Previous Balance, your "Total New Balance," any Interest Charge, and any other charges.
Credit purchases made during the statement period and the Previous Balance will be excluded from the calculation of the “average daily balance” if the Previous Balance shown on the front of the statement was paid in full prior to the Closing Date of the statement.
