Privacy Impact Assessment definition

Privacy Impact Assessment means an assessment that is conducted to determine if a proposed enactment, system, project, programme or activity meets the requirements of the General Privacy Principles of section 6;
Privacy Impact Assessment or “PIA” means an assessment that is conducted by a public body to determine if a current or proposed enactment, system, project, program or activity meets or will meet the requirements of part 3 of FIPPA.
Privacy Impact Assessment means the process to determine whether new systems, programs, initiatives, strategies or proposals meet the privacy and security requirements of the B.C. Privacy Impact Assessment or “PIA” means a risk management tool used to identify the actual or potential effects that a proposed University project/initiative may have on an individual’s privacy or the University’s information privacy and security practices/procedures.
