Privacy Official definition

Privacy Official means the person appointed by the PEBP, or its delegate, on behalf of the Plan, who is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for protecting the privacy and confidentiality of Protected Health Information that is held by or on behalf of the Plan, in accordance with 45 CFR Section 164.530.

Privacy Official means the person designated by the Plan to serve as its privacy official within the meaning of 45 CFR § 164.530(a), and any person to whom the Privacy Official has delegated any of his or her duties or responsibilities.

Privacy Official shall have the meaning as set out in its definition at 45 C.F.R. § 164.530(a)(1).

More Definitions of Privacy Official

Privacy Official means the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees or such other person appointed from time to time by the Board of Trustees to serve in such capacity.

Privacy Official or “Privacy Officer” shall mean the Superintendent who has been designated as such by the Plan Administrator.

Privacy Official means the person designated by the Covered Entity or Business Associate to serve as its Privacy Official within the meaning of 45 C.F.R. § 164.530(a), and any person to whom the Privacy Official has delegated any of his or her duties or responsibilities.

Privacy Official means the individual designated by the University on behalf of the Plan who is responsible for the implementation of the Plan’s privacy policies and procedures.
