Should the Property Practitioner have approached the Landlord by way of any means of Direct Marketing, the Landlord shall have the option to cancel this Mandate Agreement within 5 (Five) Business Days of the Signature Date without facing any penalty or subsequent legal liability.
In the event that the Landlord consists of more than one party, each of the parties comprising the Landlord shall be liable to the Property Practitioner jointly and severally for the performance by the Landlord of its obligations in terms of the Mandate Agreement and a discharge of any obligation by the Property Practitioner against any one of the Landlords in terms of this Mandate Agreement shall be a valid discharge of such obligation against both of them.
The Procurement Commission will be earned and payable by the Landlord to the Property Practitioner on the signature of the Lease Agreement, by all the parties thereto.
Should a power of attorney be concluded for this purpose, the Property Practitioner may act as a representative for the Landlord.
