Protection Laws definition

Protection Laws means any applicable law relating to the processing of Personal Data, as applicable to either party or the Services, including: i. the GDPR;
Protection Laws means the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as transposed into United Kingdom national law by operation of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and as amended by the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (“UK GDPR”) the Data Protection Act 2018 and all other laws relating to data protection and privacy to the extent applicable to the Services; Dispute Notice has the meaning given to it at Clause 9.1.
Protection Laws means all laws and regulations relating to the Processing of Personal Data as the same may be in force from time to time; Data Subject means the individual to which the Personal Data relates;

Examples of Protection Laws in a sentence

  • OW shall keep appropriate documentation of its Processing of Personal Data on behalf of Customer as required by the GDPR and applicable Data Protection Laws.

  • Such documentary audit shall take place at an agreed upon location and/or Company’s principal place of business, no more than once per calendar year, unless otherwise required by Data Protection Laws, and during Company’s standard business hours.

  • Client shall carry out inspection only to the extent required by Data Protection Laws and shall take into account Company’s business operations.

  • OW shall provide Customer, on request and at Customer’s expense, such other assistance as may reasonably be required by Customer to comply with its own obligations under applicable Data Protection Laws.

  • OW shall only Transfer the Personal Data (or permit the Personal Data to be transferred) to countries outside of the United Kingdom, Switzerland or the European Economic Area, on the documented instructions from Customer and only if it has taken such measures as are necessary to ensure the Transfer is in compliance with the applicable Data Protection Laws.


More Definitions of Protection Laws

Protection Laws means to the extent applicable: (i) the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament (“GDPR”) and any applicable national associated laws or implementations thereof; (ii) GDPR as transposed into United Kingdom national law by operation of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and as amended by the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (“UK GDPR”), together with the Data Protection Act 2018 (“UK Data Protection Law”); in each case, as may be amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time; (36) months or as otherwise specified in the Order Form;
Protection Laws means all applicable data protection and privacy legislation from time to time in force to which a party is subject, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR (as defined in the Data Protection Act 2018).
Protection Laws means all applicable data protection and privacy legislation in force from time to time in the UK including the General Data Protection Regulation whilst still applicable in the UK; the Data Protection Act 2018; the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive 2002/58/EC (as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) as amended, and any UK national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation and any successor legislation;
Protection Laws means the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK GDPR (as defined in the Data Protection Act 2018), the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive 2002/58/EC (as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) as amended; and the guidance and codes of practice issued by the relevant data protection or supervisory authority and applicable to a party; Emoluments means any pay in addition to the Actual QP Rate of Pay; First Assignment means:
Protection Laws means the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Data Protection ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ and any other applicable law in any relevant jurisdiction that applies to the processing of data relating to living persons, in each case as amended or replaced from time to time;
Protection Laws has the meaning set out in Article 10.5; Data Protection Policy has the meaning set out in Article 10.5; Delay has the meaning set out in Article 3.2;
Protection Laws has the meaning given to it in Clause B3.3; Deliverables means the deliverables specified in this Contract, including in Items 9, 10, 17 and 18 of Schedule A; Delivery Plan means the Service Provider’s plan detailing how it will deliver the Services to the Fund during the term of the Contract;
