Public Official definition

Public Official means an employee of a Governmental Authority, a member of a political party, a political candidate, an officer of a public international organization, or an officer or employee of a state-owned enterprise, including a PRC state-owned enterprise.
Public Official means any person holding a legislative, administrative or judicial office, including any person employed by or acting on behalf of a Governmental Authority.
Public Official means any person holding a legislative, administrative, managerial, political or judicial post in any country, or exercising any public function in any country or a director or employee of a public authority or of a legal person controlled by a public authority of any country, or a director or official of a public international organisation; and

Public Official means any (i) officers, employees, or other persons working in an official capacity on behalf of any Governmental Authority, including state-owned or state-controlled enterprises; (ii) political party representatives, political party officials, or candidates for political office; and (iii) officers, employees, or other persons working in an official capacity on behalf of any public international organization, such as the United Nations or the World Bank.
Public Official means (i) any officer, employee or representative of any regional, federal, state, provincial, county or municipal government or government department, agency or other division; (ii) any officer, employee or representative of any commercial enterprise that is owned or controlled by a government, including any state-owned or controlled veterinary or medical facility; (iii) any officer, employee or representative of any public international organization, such as the African Union, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations or the World Bank; and (iv) any person acting in an official capacity for any government or government entity, enterprise or organization identified above.
Public Official means any executive, official, or employee of a Governmental Authority, political party or member of a political party, political candidate; executive, employee or officer of a public international organization; or director, officer or employee or agent of a wholly owned or partially state-owned or controlled enterprise, including a PRC state-owned or controlled enterprise.
Public Official means: (i) any person holding a legislative, executive, administrative or judicial office of a State Party, whether appointed or elected, whether permanent or temporary, whether paid or unpaid, irrespective of that person’s seniority; (ii) any other person who performs a public function, including for a public agency or public enterprise, or provides a public service, as defined in the domestic law of the State Party and as applied in the pertinent area of law of that State Party; (iii) any other person defined as a “public official” in the domestic law of a State Party. However, for the purpose of some specific measures contained in chapter II of this Convention, “public official” may mean any person who performs a public function or provides a public service as defined in the domestic law of the State Party and as applied in the pertinent area of law of that State Party;
