Examples of Qualifying exigency leave in a sentence
Qualifying Exigency Leave is an additional type of FML available to eligible employees.
An employee may be eligible for Military Caregiver or Military Qualifying Exigency Leave, categories of FMLA leave described in District Policy 2.14(7)(b)4b&c.
When Qualifying Exigency Leave is requested, an employee may be required to provide a copy of the military member’s active duty orders.
Qualifying Exigency Leave may be taken on an intermittent or reduced schedule basis.
Non-medical leaves of absence, with or without pay, include: certain Family and Medical Leaves (leave to care for a family member with a serious health condition, Parental Leave, Military Caregiver Leave, and Qualifying Exigency Leave), leave for jury duty, military leave, leave for professional meetings, Personal Leave, and leave for service to Governmental agencies.
