Redistribution Software definition

Redistribution Software means the software described in Paragraph 4 (“Use of Redistribution Software”) below.

• If Customer does not distribute Client Software or Redistribution Software (individually or collectively, “Supplemental Software”) in connection with its Software Service, Customer is not required to include terms applicable to Supplemental Software in the End User Agreement.

• Customer may authorize (1) its Software Services Resellers and/or (2) Software Services Resellers of Service Providers using Customer as Data Center Provider, if appropriate, to distribute original media or software containing only Client Software and/or Redistribution Software to End Users.

• You may not make any copies of the Products; provided, however, that you may (a) make one copy of Client Software on your Device as expressly authorized by Customer; and (b) you may make copies of certain Redistribution Software in accordance with Paragraph 4 (Use of Redistribution Software).

More Definitions of Redistribution Software

Redistribution Software means software that may be installed on a Device and which may be used, modified, reproduced and/or redistributed by a Customer without separate payment to Microsoft, such as "sample," "redistributable," and/or software development ("SDK") software code and tools.

The SOFTWARE PRODUCTS are licensed to VCPI from an affiliate of the Microsoft Corporation. All title and intellectual property rights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS (and the constituent elements thereof, including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text and “applets” incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS) are owned by Microsoft or its suppliers. The SOFTWARE PRODUCTS are protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The Client’s possession, access, or use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS does not transfer any ownership of the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS or any intellectual property rights to the Client.

Redistribution Software means software that may be installed on Client’s device that may be used, modified, reproduced and/or redistributed by Client without additional charge subject to this Agreement and related requirements. Examples of Redistribution Software are sample, redistributable, and/or software development software code and tools. Redistribution Software is a Product.
