Reformulated Product definition

Reformulated Product is a Product that: (a) contains lead in concentrations that do not exceed 90 parts per million (ppm), equivalent to 0.009%, in any exterior parts analyzed pursuant to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) testing methodologies 3050B and 6010B; and
Reformulated Product is an identical Product in substance and labeling to Covered Product(s), but with a product’s component(s) harvested in different location(s) or grown/manufactured with different (from Covered Product(s)) methods that have resulted in reduced or eliminated presence of the violative chemical- cadmium and lead below the level specified in Section 2.2.1 of this Agreement.
Reformulated Product are defined as those Product containing DEHP in concentration no more than 0.1 percent (1,000 parts per million).

Examples of Reformulated Product in a sentence

  • The warning requirement set forth in §§ 2.3 and 2.4 shall not apply to any Reformulated Product.

  • The warning requirements set forth in §§ 2.3 and 2.4 shall not apply to any Reformulated Product or to any Product manufactured prior to the Effective Date.

More Definitions of Reformulated Product

Reformulated Product means Product that contains in any accessible component less than or equal to 1,000 parts per million (“ppm”) of DEHP when analyzed pursuant to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency testing methodologies 3580A and 8270C.

In addition to the above test methodologies, the Settling Entity may use equivalent methodologies utilized by a state or federal agency in the United States to determine lead content in a solid substance or the amount of the bioavailability of lead through a wipe test, respectively.
Reformulated Product means a subsequent version of a Product that represents an improvement, enhancement, refinement or modification of an existing Product and that incorporates, contains or combines (i) a Product, (ii) a Product and a Delivery Media, or (iii) a Product and a Delivery Media with one or more other components.
Reformulated Product means Covered Product containing less than or equal to the “Daily Lead Exposure Level” 0.5 micrograms of Lead based on a single serving per day unless such Covered Products comply with the warning requirements of Section 2.2. The “Daily Lead Exposure Level” shall be calculated by multiplying the recommended serving size in Covered Product by the concentration of lead in Covered Products (“Reformulation Standard”). As used in this Section 2, “distributed for sale in CA” means to directly ship Covered Products into California or to sell Covered Products to a distributor FSC knows will sell Covered Products in California.
