In carrying out its functions, a co-transfer agent may require evidence of authority and compliance with applicable laws and other requirements by Registered Owners or Persons entitled to Shares and will be entitled to protection and indemnity to the same extent as the Trustee.

More Definitions of Registered Owners

Registered Owners means the persons or legal entities (including Cede & Co.) which are the Owners of Series Certificates as shown on the books of the Certificate/Bond Registrar for the particular Series.
