Regulated Activity definition

Regulated Activity means any generation, treatment, storage, recycling, transportation, disposal or release of any Hazardous Substances.

Regulated Activity in relation to children, has the meaning given in Part 1 of Schedule 4 to the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Xxx 0000, and in relation to vulnerable adults, has the meaning in Part 2 of Schedule 4 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Xxx 0000;

Regulated Activity means each of the activities listed in Article (3)

Examples of Regulated Activity in a sentence

• The purpose of carrying out an Enhanced Check for Regulated Activity is to identify whether an applicant is barred from working with children by inclusion on the Children's Barred List and to obtain other relevant suitability information.

• The School applies for an enhanced disclosure from the DBS and a check of the Children's Barred List (now known as an Enhanced Check for Regulated Activity) in respect of all positions at the School which amount to "regulated activity" as defined in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (as amended).

• Under no circumstances will a volunteer who has not been appropriately checked be left unsupervised or be allowed to engage in Regulated Activity.

• Contractors and any of their staff who have not undergone checks will not be allowed to work unsupervised or in Regulated Activity.

More Definitions of Regulated Activity

Regulated Activity shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.21(e).
