Release Management definition

Release Management means the process adopted for planning, scheduling and controlling the build, test and deployment of releases of IT updates, procedures and processes. Relevant Device has the meaning given to that expression in Section L10.30(a) (Definitions).

Release Management means the discipline responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the movement of Releases to test and live environments. The primary objective of Release Management is to ensure that the integrity of the live environment is protected and that the correct components are released. Release Manager means the resource responsible for leading the Release Management process.
