Remote Meeting definition
Remote Meeting means a Meeting where one or more of the attendees is attending by remote means in accordance with these Standing Orders, including but not exclusively by way of accessing the Meeting through an electronic, digital or virtual location or platform such as an internet location, web address, web based platform or conference call telephone numbers. “Remote attendance” and “remote means” shall be construed in the same way.
Remote Meeting means a meeting where some or all members are in remote attendance and/or where some or all members of the public are attending by remote access.
Remote Meeting means a public meeting that is conducted by any means of live telephonic, electronic and/or other audio or video communication equipment.

In recognition of the difficulties caused by the COVID19 pandemic, the Local Authority Remote Meeting Regulations provide that a Local Authority is not required to hold its Annual Meeting until the end of the 2020 calendar year.

Remote Meeting means a meeting by the Executive Committee or Board held through one or more means of remote communication that allows real- time verbal communication by the Supervisors and the ability for members of the public to listen to the proceedings in real-time, without a physical location for the meeting.
