Renewable Attributes definition

Renewable Attributes means those attributes, whether existing as at the Contract Date or coming into existence in the future, associated with the Facility having decreased environmental impacts due to or through the generation of Renewable Electricity, and includes:
Renewable Attributes means any renewable or environmental attributes or credits, including Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) or otherwise, in respect of the Project, existing now or in the future. Roundtrip Efficiency – has the meaning ascribed to it in Appendix 7. Roundtrip Efficiency Test – means the Duty Cycle test set forth in APPENDIX 3 CONTRACT CAPACITY TEST AND OTHER TESTS.
Renewable Attributes means the environmental attributes associated with energy generation represented by a renewable energy certificate that can be used to comply with Oregon’s renewable portfolio standards in ORS 469A.050 and ORS 469A.055. Renewable attributes do not include greenhouse gas offsets from methane capture not associated with generation of electricity and do not include environmental attributes represented by a thermal renewable energy certificate created under ORS 469A.132.

Examples of Renewable Attributes in a sentence

  • The Parties have agreed that the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall be applicable to and govern (a) the Initial Feedstock Fill Quantity, including Vitol’s supply thereof and BKRF’s purchase thereof, and (b) BKRF’s supply and Vitol’s purchase of any Product and associated Renewable Attributes produced by BKRF during the Start-Up Period through the use of all or a portion of the Initial Feedstock Fill Quantity.

  • Vitol and BKRF may from time to time consult with each other and pursue opportunities for the purchase, processing, or production of feedstock, products, or renewable attributes that do not as of the Effective Date constitute Feedstock, Product, or Renewable Attributes (“New Items”), using the following approval process set forth in this Section 2.4 (the “Approval Process”) or any other agreed upon process.

  • If at any time during the Term Vitol purchases from BKRF any one or more of the Excluded Renewable Attributes BKRF has available for purchase, the Parties agree that the provisions of this Article IV, Article VI and, as applicable, the provisions of Schedule 2.1, shall apply to each such purchase of Excluded Renewable Attributes made by Vitol.


More Definitions of Renewable Attributes

Renewable Attributes means any and all renewable resource attributes (including renewable energy certificates or credits or similar rights arising out of any applicable REC Registration Program), green tags, emissions or carbon credits, reductions, offsets, and allowances, and any other environmentally related attributes that are, or in the future may be, recognized by any Governmental Authority, and that are attributable to the availability, production, purchase or sale of Energy from the Facility. For the avoidance of doubt, “Renewable Attributes” do not include any Tax Benefits.
Renewable Attributes. ’ means tradeable renewable energy credits (with or without other features), tradeable emissions credits, emission offsets or other market instruments created or obtained by use of renewable energy resources or technologies.
Renewable Attributes means any of the following that are attributable to a community solar facility or solar field or the electricity generated by a facility or field provided by the federal or state government or any other legislative authority of a political subdivision in the state:
Renewable Attributes means CFPCs, FBTCs, LCFS Credits, and RINs and, to the extent approved by the Parties in writing in accordance with Section 2.4, other similar market valued renewable credits available from the Product output from the Project.
Renewable Attributes has the meaning given in the Solar PPA. Schedule of Project Participants shall mean the Schedule of Project Participants contained in Schedule 1 attached hereto, as the same may be amended or supplemented from time to time in accordance with the provisions hereof. Seller shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals of this Power Sales Contract.
Renewable Attributes means any and all environmental attributes, credits, benefits, emissions reductions, offsets, and allowances, howsoever entitled, attributable to the Production Facility, its displacement of conventional energy generation, and, to the extent related to the purchase and sale of RNG contemplated here, the use of RNG as a bio-gas derived fuel replacement for fossil fuels. Renewable Attributes also include (i) any energy, capacity, reliability, or other power attributes from the Production Facility, (ii) production tax credits associated with the construction or operation of Production Facility or any other associated contract or right, and other financial incentives in the form of credits, reductions, or allowances associated with the Production Facility that are applicable to a state or federal income taxation obligation. Renewable Attributes include but are not limited to Low Carbon Fuel Credits (LCFS) in California, tax or other credits arising from the sequestration of or diversion of methane and carbon associated with the Production Facility, and the sale of greenhouse gas credits arising from regional or interstate compacts, and from national or world markets.
Renewable Attributes means any and all existing and future renewable resource attributes, emissions credits and other environmentally related attributes that arise from, result from, are created by or are attributable to the generation, production, purchase or sale of Energy from the Project. Renewable Attributes do not include (a) any Energy, capacity, reliability or other power attributes from the Project, (b) Tax Attributes or (c) emission reduction credits encumbered or used by the Project for compliance with local, state or federal operating and/or air quality permits.
