Resident care staff definition

Resident care staff means an individual employed by a licensee to be the usual and primary caregiver of residents.
Resident care staff means the licensee and all employ- ees who have one or more of the following responsibilities for res- idents: supervising a resident’s activities or whereabouts, manag- ing or administering a resident’s medications, providing personal care or treatments for a resident, planning or conducting training or activity programming for a resident. Resident care staff does not include volunteers and employees who work exclusively in the food service, maintenance, laundry service, housekeeping, transportation, or security or clerical areas, and employees that do not work on the premises of the CBRF.
Resident care staff. Means employees of Defendants, their Subsidiaries or Affiliates who work at a Covered Facility and are responsible for the direct care of Residents. Resident Care Staff does not include private caregivers hired by any Resident, or their family or friends, to provide care to a Resident at a Covered Facility.

  • Direct care staff means a facility employee whose primary responsibility is to provide personal care services to residents. These personal care services may include:

  • Funeral services means services customarily performed by a mortuary science licensee who is licensed pursuant to article 18 of the occupational code, 1980 PA 299, MCL 339.1801 to 339.1812. Funeral services include, but are not limited to, care of dead human remains, embalming, preparation of dead human remains for final disposition, professional services relating to a funeral or an alternative to a funeral or final disposition of dead human remains, transportation of dead human remains, limousine services, use of facilities or equipment for viewing dead human remains, visitation, memorial services, or services which are used in connection with a funeral or alternative to a funeral, coordinating or conducting funeral rites or ceremonies, cremations, and other services provided in connection with a funeral, alternative to a funeral, or final disposition of dead human remains.

  • Medical services means Medically Necessary services, including, as the context requires, Confinement, treatments, procedures, tests, examinations or other related services for the investigation or treatment of a Disability.

  • Educational Services means educational training provided to Entitled Students at a School;

  • Personal care services means both physical assis- tance and/or prompting and supervising the performance of direct personal care tasks as determined by the resident's needs and does not include assistance with tasks performed by a licensed health professional.

  • Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.

  • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.

  • Residential services means a complete range of residences

  • Director of Nursing means the Registered Nurse Level 5, appointed as such, who has charge of the nursing staff and who may also be required to supervise other staff (including domestic staff).

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.

  • Inpatient hospital services means any health care service provided to a patient who has been admitted to a hospital and is required to remain in that hospital overnight, but does not include any secure forensic mental health services;

  • Personal Services means “the performance of any work or labor and shall also include acting as an independent contractor or providing any consulting advice or assistance, or otherwise acting as an agent pursuant to a contractual relationship.”

  • Home health care services means medical and nonmedical services, provided to ill, disabled or infirm persons in their residences. Such services may include homemaker services, assistance with activities of daily living and respite care services.

  • local services means those services, facilities or things which are under the jurisdiction of the municipality and are related to a plan of subdivision or within the area to which the plan relates in respect of the lands under Sections 41,51 or 53 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, as amended or any successor thereto;

  • Health care services means services for the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, cure, or relief of a health condition, illness, injury, or disease.

  • Marijuana retailer means a person who sells marijuana items to a consumer in this state.
