Residential facility definition

Residential facility means a home or facility that is licensed by the department of developmental disabilities under section 5123.19 of the Revised Code and in which a child with a developmental disability resides.

More Definitions of Residential facility

Residential facility means a facility providing a level of care that is sufficient to substitute for parental responsibility or foster care, and is beyond what is needed for assessment or treatment of an acute condition. For purposes of the compact, residential facilities do not include institutions primarily educational in character, hospitals, or other medical facilities.
Residential facility means a group home, children's crisis care facility (as defined in rule 5101:2-9-36 of the Administrative Code), children's residential center, private, nonprofit therapeutic wilderness camp, or residential parenting facility where twenty-four hour child care is provided by child care staff employed or contracted by an agency. Residential facility means a licensed adult family home under department contract; a licensed enhanced services facility under de- partment contract; or licensed assisted living facility under depart- ment contract to provide assisted living, adult residential care or enhanced adult residential care.
