Resolution Event means the occurrence of one or more of the following events no later than two business days prior to the Voting Deadline:

Resolution Event means that a determination has been made by the Danish Resolution Authority that the conditions for resolution in accordance with section 4 of the Danish Recovery and Resolution Act have been satisfied;

No later than one business day following the occurrence of a Resolution Event, the Debtors shall cause the Notice, Claims, and Balloting Agent to distribute via email, hand delivery, or overnight courier service a Solicitation Package and a pre-addressed, postage pre-paid envelope to the relevant holder.

Examples of Resolution Event in a sentence

If a Global Asbestos Resolution Event has not occurred, Payor shall make the payments to Payee set forth in this Section 2.3.
If a Global Asbestos Resolution Event has occurred, beginning on January 1st of the calendar year following such Global Asbestos Resolution Event, Payor shall pay Payee as set forth in this Section 2.4.
Absent a Resolution Event (as defined in Exhibit 1), Holders of Claims that are subject to a pending objection by the Debtors filed on or before the Solicitation Launch Date are not entitled to vote the disputed portion of their claim.
Any Holder of a Claim allowed or temporarily allowed by a Resolution Event may vote only on account of the allowed or temporarily allowed portion of its Claim.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Cumulative Outstanding GARE Losses shall be carried over year-to-year and recalculated as of January 1st of each calendar year following a Global Asbestos Resolution Event, until the earlier of (i) the year that there are no Cumulative Outstanding GARE Losses or (ii) the Termination Date.

More Definitions of Resolution Event

Resolution Event means, with respect to a Disputed Claim that is the subject of an objection other than a “reclassify” or “reduce and allow” objection, the occurrence of one or more of the following events on or before the Voting Resolution Event Deadline:

No. 289 of 2015) (as amended) or any other future legislative measures extending to financial institutions or their affiliates, whether giving effect to Directive 2014/59/EU (as amended) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 establishing a framework for the recovery and resolution of credit institutions and investment firms or otherwise, or equivalent resolution legislation applicable to non-Irish parties and having the aim of safely and effectively resolving a financial institution or its group in financial difficulties, including any measures made or taken in connection with the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union;

Resolution Event means one or more of the events described in Section D of these Solicitation Procedures.
