Sanctions Authorities definition

Sanctions Authorities means the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, including without limitation, OFAC, the United States Department of State, and Her Majesty's Treasury;
Sanctions Authorities means all of the foregoing Sanctions Authorities, collectively.
Sanctions Authorities as defined in the definition of “Sanctions.”

Examples of Sanctions Authorities in a sentence

  • Parent and its subsidiaries have instituted, maintain and enforce, and will continue to maintain and enforce, policies and procedures designed to promote and ensure, and which are reasonably expected to ensure, compliance with all of the relevant regulations adopted by the Sanctions Authorities.

  • The sanctions laws, regulations, embargoes or restrictive measures administered, enacted or enforced by any of the Sanctions Authorities.

  • None of the Purchaser, any of its subsidiaries, any director or officer, or any employee, agent, or affiliate is a Person that is, or is owned or controlled by Persons that are, (i) the subject of any sanctions administered or enforced by the Sanctions Authorities or (ii) located, organized or in a country or territory that is, or whose government is, the target of Sanctions, including, without limitation, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.

  • No Loan Party nor any of its Subsidiaries, nor, to the knowledge of any Loan Party, any officer, director, employee, agent or Affiliate thereof, is in violation of any of the country or list based economic and trade sanctions administered and enforced by any Sanctions Authorities.

  • No proceeds of any Advances made, or Letter of Credit issued, hereunder will be used, directly or indirectly, (i) to fund any operations in, finance any investments or activities in, or make any payments to, a Sanctioned Person or a Sanctioned Entity or (ii) in any manner that would result in the violation of any sanctions instituted by Sanctions Authorities applicable to any Loan Party.


More Definitions of Sanctions Authorities

Sanctions Authorities has the meaning given to it in the definition of Sanctioned Person;
Sanctions Authorities. The meaning specified in Section 7.9(a)(xx)(A).
Sanctions Authorities means the following national and supra-national authorities: United States Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, the United Nations Security Council, the European Union and the UK’s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation within Her Majesty’s Treasury.
Sanctions Authorities means any agency or person which is duly appointed, empowered or authorised to enact, administer, implement and/or enforce Sanctions, including (without limitation):
Sanctions Authorities means the Norwegian State, the United Nations, the European Union, the Member States of the European Union, the United States of America, (hereinafter - the USA), the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and any authority acting on behalf of any of them in connection with the Sanctions.
Sanctions Authorities means (a) the United States; (b) the United Nations (acting through the United Nations Security Council as a whole and not each individual member or member state); (c) the European Union (as a whole and not each member state); (d) the United Kingdom; (e) Canada; or (f) the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the foregoing, including OFAC, the United States Department of State, and HMT.
Sanctions Authorities shall have the meaning given in the definition ofSanctions Target”.
