Sanctions Regime definition

Sanctions Regime has the meaning given to it in paragraph (A) of the definition ofQualifying Bank”.
Sanctions Regime means a sanctions regime issued, imposed or administered by the United States, any member country of the European Union, the European Union itself, the United Kingdom or the United Nations (or any agency of any of them);
Sanctions Regime means economic or financial sanctions or trade embargoes imposed at any time by: (i) the government of the United States of America; (ii) the United Nations Security Council; (iii) the European Union; (iv) the United Kingdom Treasury Office; or (v) any Governmental Authority exercising jurisdiction over the Joint Obligors and their Subsidiaries or their operations.

  • The Fund further represents and warrants that it will promptly notify the Custodian in writing if either it or any of its underlying investors whose assets are held by the Custodian becomes subject to a Sanctions Regime or holds assets that subsequently became Sanctioned Property.
