Semiconductor Product definition

Semiconductor Product means the final or an intermediate form of any product consisting of a body of material which includes a layer of semiconducting material, having one or more layers composed of conducting, insulating or semiconducting material, the layers being arranged in accordance with a predetermined three-dimensional pattern and intended to perform, exclusively or together with other functions, an electronic function;
Semiconductor Product means: (a) a Semiconductive Element; or (b) a Semiconductive Element and one or more films of conductive, semiconductive or insulating materials formed on a surface or surfaces of such Semiconductive Element, said film or films comprising one or more conductors, active or passive electrical circuit elements or any combination thereof; or (c) a unitary assembly consisting of one or more of the elements described in clauses (a) and/or (b) of this Section 1.1.46 having a fixed permanent physical relationship established therebetween; or (d) a unitary assembly consisting primarily of (i) one or more of the elements described in clauses (a), (b) and/or (c) of this Section 1.1.46, and (ii) one or more film devices having a fixed permanent physical relationship established therebetween. Semiconductor Product includes, if provided therewith as a part thereof, (A) Auxiliary Parts and (B) additional electrical circuits constituted thereby and integrally included therein, provided that such Auxiliary Parts and additional electrical circuits are incidental to the functionality of such Semiconductor Products.
Semiconductor Product means a component that contains an Integrated Circuit on a single or multichip module that incorporates a means of connecting those Integrated Circuits with other electronic elements (active or passive) and/or means to make external electrical connections to such elements, but which excludes any means for a user to operate the functions therein (e.g., buttons, switches, sensors).

More Definitions of Semiconductor Product

Semiconductor Product means an article the purpose, or one of the purposes, of which is the performance of an electronic function and which consists of two or more layers, at least one of which is composed of semiconducting material and in or upon one or more of which is fixed a pattern appertaining to that or another function; and
Semiconductor Product. Means any product comprising at least in part semiconductive material, such products, including, but not limited to, semiconductor devices, semiconductor circuits, and INTEGRATED CIRCUITS.
Semiconductor Product means any semiconductor product or other product made using a Semiconductor Process, such as discretes, integrated circuits, MEMS Products and radio frequency identification products. Semiconductor Product also means chipsets or combinations of discretes and/or integrated circuits which are incorporated in board-level products, or in assemblies or systems, but in any event does not mean any portion of any such board-level product, assembly or system which is not a chipset, discrete or integrated circuit. Semiconductor Products includes any software which is incorporated in, or specific to any of the foregoing which are Semiconductor Products.
Semiconductor Product has the meaning set forth in the Amended and Restated Fujitsu-Spansion Patent Cross-License Agreement.
Semiconductor Product means any one or more of the following items (as defined in Supplement C (Glossary of Technical Elements)), whether or not an item is incorporated in more comprehensive equipment: (a) Circuit; (b) Integrated Circuit Structure; (c) Packaged Device; (d) Semiconductor Element; (e) Semiconductive Material; or (f) Circuits employing an Electrical Method; provided, however, that a “Semiconductor Product” does not include an assembly of more than one Packaged Device.
Semiconductor Product means the final or an intermediate product having one or more layers of semiconducting material and one or more layers of conducting or insulating material, the layers being arranged in accordance with a predetermined three-dimensional pattern. This product is intended to perform an electronic function exclusively or together with other functions.
