Service Commitment definition

Service Commitment is effective on the Commencement Date and means the period of time after the Activation Date for which Customer is committed to pay for a particular Service, if any, as set out in the Agreement.
Service Commitment or “Initial Service Term” means the period of time for which Customer is committed to pay for Services, even if they are terminated or not used, which is the period from the Service Activation Date as stated in the Agreement or a Contract or, if not stated and not subject to a Volume Commitment, one year from the Service Activation Date. Upon expiration of the Service Commitment, the Services automatically continue until either Party terminates them under the terms of the Agreement or Contract.

Examples of Service Commitment in a sentence

  • The Service Commitment will not cover the following: (a) Software which is embedded in the CPE.

  • Verizon may change its rates and charges as follows: (a) for voice Services, at any time upon seven days written notice to Customer; and (b) for all other Services upon 30 days written notice to Customer to take effect, (i) immediately for Services with no Service Commitment; or (ii) for Services with a Service Commitment, on or at any time after the expiry of that Service Commitment.

  • In the event we fail to meet our Service Commitment in a given calendar month, you will be eligible to receive Service Credits on future billing cycles.

  • Company may provide Service Commitment in connection with the CPE in accordance with Applicable Law.

  • Monthly recurring charges (MRCs) are fixed for the Service Commitment (if applicable).


More Definitions of Service Commitment

Service Commitment means the payment that we provide in case the Transfer does not get completed/effected within the Transfer Time stipulated by us as provided in clause 21.5.4, subject to the conditions provided in 21.5.
