Service Limitations definition

Service Limitations means the Service Limitations set out in the Order.
Service Limitations. This Warranty does not cover any damage resulting from external cause such as, but not limited to, negligence, misuse, abuse, unauthorized repair by others; defects in design, construction, or previous workmanship; fire, water, windstorm, sand abrasion, hail or any other act of God. Work necessitated by any of the foregoing will be subject to charge at our prevailing demand service rates. IN NO EVENT SHALL BHM BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Service Limitations. A complex procurement is a request for proposals (RFP), request for qualifications (RFQ), or a request for offers (RFO) with a total contract value of $25,000 or more. Related Policy or Statute: • Solicitations over $25,000 must be posted on the Electronic State Business Daily consistent with Texas Government Code §2155.083. • The Procurement Oversight and Delegation division of the Comptroller of Public Accounts must review solicitations and delegate purchasing authority to HHSC for services over $100,000 and goods over $50,000 when HHS does not possess statutory purchasing authority. • The Contract Advisory Team must review and approve procurements over $5 million. • The Quality Assurance Team must review major information resource projects, and HHS must justify any rejected recommendations. • The Quality Assurance Team must review contracts greater than $10M that are associated with a major information resources project twice: the first version intended for contractor, and the final red-lined version prior to award. HHS must justify any rejected recommendations prior to awarding the contract. • The HHS IT division must review and approve all IT purchases. • For all procurements, good-faith efforts should be made to increase contract awards to HUB. • For procurements $100,000 or more, if HUB opportunities are probable, any expression of interest in response to the solicitation must contain a HUB Subcontracting Plan to be considered responsive. DSHS Responsibilities: Processes may change based on recommended improvements resulting from the Procurement and Contracting Improvement Plan (PCIP) and/or executive management.
