Special Districts means governmental agencies created for single or limited purposes within the County of Marin.

Special Districts means a formal and legally recognized sub-entity of the State that is authorized by State law to provide one or a limited number of designated functions, including but not limited to, fire districts, irrigation districts, water districts, law enforcement districts, emergency services districts, school districts, and healthcare and hospital districts.
