Examples of Special exception in a sentence
Before any Special Exception shall be granted, the Board of Adjustment shall make a specific finding that it is empowered under Article 4 of the Land Development Regulations to grant the Special Exception described in the petition, and that the granting of the Special Exception will not adversely affect the public interest.
The application fee for a Special Exception Application is $1,050.
Violation of such conditions and safeguards, when made a part of the terms under which the Special Exception is granted, shall be deemed a violation of the Land Development Regulations.
APAH may exercise the Option only if all of the following conditions have been met: (i) APAH has received an award of Tax Credits from VHDA for the Development; and (ii) in connection with the entitlement and development of the Development, APAH has received (A) a Comprehensive Plan Amendment; (B) an approved Special Exception for the Property; and (C) a Proffered Condition Amendment for the Property.
In granting any Special Exception to the provisions of Article 4 of the Land Development Regulations, the Board of Adjustment may prescribe appropriate conditions and safeguards in conformity with such regulations, including but not limited to, reasonable time limits within which the action for which the Special Exception requested shall be begun or completed, or both.
