Special Servicer definition
Special Servicer means the applicable special servicer with respect to the Mortgage Loan appointed as provided in the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement.
Special Servicer means the special servicer appointed pursuant to the Servicing Agreement and this Agreement.
Special Servicer means the special servicer or its successor in interest, or any successor appointed as provided in the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement.

The Certificate Administrator shall post such notice to the Certificate Administrator’s Website in accordance with Section 3.13(b) and provide notice of such event to the Master Servicer, the Special Servicer, the Depositor and the 17g-5 Information Provider, which shall promptly post such notice to the 17g-5 Information Provider’s Website in accordance with Section 3.13(c).
In no event shall any expense arising from compliance with an Intercreditor Agreement constitute an expense to be borne by the Master Servicer or Special Servicer for its own account without reimbursement.
Each of the Master Servicer and Special Servicer acknowledges and agrees that each Companion Holder and each mezzanine lender or its respective designee has the right to purchase the related Mortgage Loan pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the related Intercreditor Agreement to the extent provided for therein.
A copy of such instrument shall be delivered to the Depositor, the Special Servicer and the remaining Certificateholders by the Master Servicer.
More Definitions of Special Servicer
Special Servicer means (A) the applicable Loan Combination Special Servicer, insofar as such information, funds, documents, instruments and/or other items relate to the subject Serviced Loan Combination or any related REO Property, (B) the applicable Excluded Mortgage Loan Special Servicer, insofar as such information, funds, documents, instruments and/or other items relate to the subject Excluded Special Servicer Mortgage Loan or any related REO Property and (C) the General Special Servicer, in all other cases; (iii) when used in the context of granting the Special Servicer the right to purchase all of the Mortgage Loans and all other property held by the Trust Fund pursuant to Section 9.01 of this Agreement, the term “Special Servicer” shall mean the General Special Servicer only; (iv) when used in the context of the Special Servicer being replaced pursuant to this Section 6.08 by the Controlling Class Representative or the applicable Certificateholders, the term “Special Servicer” shall mean the General Special Servicer, the applicable Loan Combination Special Servicer or the applicable Excluded Mortgage Loan Special Servicer, if applicable; (v) when used in the context of granting the Special Servicer any protections, limitations on liability, immunities and/or indemnities hereunder, the term “Special Servicer” shall mean each of the Loan Combination Special Servicers, the Excluded Mortgage Loan Special Servicers (if any) and the General Special Servicer; and (vi) when used in the context of requiring indemnification from, imposing liability on, or exercising any remedies against, the Special Servicer for any breach of a representation, warranty or covenant hereunder or for any negligence, bad faith or willful misconduct in the performance of duties and obligations hereunder or any negligent disregard of such duties and obligations or otherwise holding the Special Servicer responsible for any of the foregoing, the term “Special Servicer” shall mean the applicable Loan Combination Special Servicer, the applicable Excluded Mortgage Loan Special Servicer or the General Special Servicer, as applicable.
Special Servicer means the related Loan-Specific Special Servicer or the General Special Servicer, as applicable. References in this Section 9.30(f) to “General Special Servicer” mean the Person performing the duties and obligations of Special Servicer with respect to the Mortgage Loans (exclusive of each and every A/B Whole Loan and Loan Pair as to which a Loan-Specific Special Servicer has been appointed).

Special Servicer means Midland Loan Services, a Division of PNC Bank, National Association, or its successor in interest, or any successor Special Servicer appointed as provided in the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement and this Agreement.
