Standard Variable Rate definition

Standard Variable Rate means our published standard variable rate tariff which is listed in the Charges Schedule.
Standard Variable Rate or "SVR" means, as applicable, the Northern Rock standard variable mortgage base rate and/or the standard variable mortgage base rate applicable to Mortgage Loans within the Mortgages Trust in accordance with the Mortgage Conditions;
Standard Variable Rate. Subject to the provisions of Clause 7.9, the Seller covenants with the Mortgages Trustee, Funding and the Security Trustee that, where the Administrator determines on any date that there will be a Shortfall during the next succeeding Interest Period and notifies the Seller to such effect, the Seller shall take all steps which are necessary, including publishing any notice which is required in accordance with the Mortgage Conditions, to set the Standard Variable Rate and such other discretionary rates and margins applicable to the Mortgage Loans at such levels as may be notified to the Seller by the Mortgages Trustee, Funding or the Security Trustee (which rates shall be the same rates as previously notified to the Mortgages Trustee, Funding and the Security Trustee in accordance with Clause 4.3(b) of the Administration Agreement) as being the rates required in order for no Shortfall to arise.

More Definitions of Standard Variable Rate

Standard Variable Rate means our standard variable rate of interest.
Standard Variable Rate means the reversion rate which is a variable rate of interest charged under the regulated mortgage contract after the end of any initial introductory deal.

Standard Variable Rate means a variable rate of interest set by us in relation to a Loan as indicated in the relevant Mortgage Offer and which can be changed by us at any time before and after the Completion Date under that Mortgage Offer and Condition 82. The Standard Variable Rate for one Loan may differ to the Standard Variable Rate for another Loan and may differ from a standard variable rate in relation to other loans to other customers or in relation to different Loans with you. In other words, in this context the word 'standard' is used to distinguish this type of variable rate of interest from a non-standard type of variable rate, such as a tracker rate; the word 'standard' does not mean or imply that the same variable rate applies to another Loan, another customer or another product even if the word 'standard' is also used in relation to them). If we enter into a Transfer, the Standard Variable Rate in relation to a Loan will be set by or onbehalf of the Transferee. The Transferee can set the Standard Variable Rate in relation to a Loanindependently of any rate set by us or any other Transferee.
