Strategic Equity Investor definition

Strategic Equity Investor means any Person which is (or a controlled Affiliate of any Person which is) engaged in the ownership, development, operation or acquisition of communications systems and which, as of the last available annual or quarterly financial statements, has Total Common Equity of at least $1.0 billion.
Strategic Equity Investor means a Person engaged in a Permitted Business whose Total Equity Market Capitalization exceeds $1.0 billion.
Strategic Equity Investor means, as of any date, any Person (other than an Affiliate of the Company) engaged in a Permitted Business which, as of the day immediately before such date, had a Total Equity Market Capitalization of at least $1.0 billion.

  • Neither the Equity Commitment nor the Stock Purchase (as defined in the Equity Commitment) shall constitute an investment or any part of any investment by a Strategic Equity Investor.

Strategic Equity Investor means any of the Cash Equity Investors, any Affiliate thereof, any other Person engaged in a Permitted Business whose Total Equity Market Capitalization exceeds $500,000,000 or any other Person who has at least $100,000,000 total funds under management and who has issued an irrevocable, unconditional commitment to purchase Qualified Stock of the Company for an aggregate purchase price that does not exceed 20% of the value of the funds under management by such Person.
Strategic Equity Investor means a corporation or entity with an equity market capitalization, a net asset value or annual revenues of at least $1.0 billion that owns and operates businesses in the telecommunications, information systems, entertainment, cable or similar or related industries.
Strategic Equity Investor means any person that is, or is a controlled Affiliate of, any person that is engaged in the broadcasting business; provided, however, that "Strategic Equity Investor" shall not include any Affiliate of the Company.
