Student Records. Means both of the following: (1) Any information that directly relates to a student that is maintained by LEA and (2) any information acquired directly from the student through the use of instructional software or applications assigned to the student by a teacher or other LEA employee. For the purposes of this Agreement, Student Records shall be the same as Educational Records, and Covered Information, all of which are deemed Student Data for the purposes of this Agreement. Service Agreement: Refers to the Contract or Purchase Order to which this DPA supplements and modifies.

Student Records. The parties may provide personally identifiable student records to each other in the performance of this agreement. Such records are provided pursuant to Section 1002.22, F.S., and 20 U.S.C.A. 1232g. Each party further agrees to comply with Section 1002.22, F.S., and 20 U.S.C.A. 1232g, including but not limited to provisions related to confidentiality, access, consent, the length of retention and security of student records. School district may provide 9th- 12th directory information to IRSC for the purpose of providing dual enrollment marketing information to prospective/current dual enrollment students.

More Definitions of Student Records

Student Records means those records, files, documents, and other materials that contain information directly related to students that are maintained by a private school or by a person acting for such institution and that are accessible to other professional personnel to facilitate the instruction, guidance, and educational progress of students. Information contained in student records shall be classified as follows:

Student Records means all records relating to individual students maintained by a school, but does not include notes or records maintained for personal use by a teacher or other person who is required by the state superintendent under §115.28(7) to hold a certificate, license or permit if such records and notes are not available to others, nor does it include records necessary for, and available only to the persons involved in, the psychological treatment of a student.

Student Records means any record related to a student that is maintained by a school or one of its employees. It includes health records. It does not include “directory information” or a school employee's informal notes, if the notes remain in the sole possession of the maker and are not made available to others, except to a substitute.

Student Records means those “educational records,” as defined in subsection (a)(4)(A) of FERPA (as defined above), which the School or Connections is required to retain in accordance with state law.

Student Records means (1) any information that directly relates to a student that is maintained by Client; and

Student Records means personally identifiable information about a School District student that is (i) provided to CK-12 by School District or School District personnel or (ii) collected by CK-12 in the course of providing Services to the School District pursuant to the CK-12 Terms of Use and this DPA (including such information collected from Student Accounts). However, it is expressly understood and agreed by the Parties that, for the purposes of this DPA, Student Records does not include User Content (as defined in the CK-12 Terms of Use) or any information a student or other individual or entity may provide to CK-12 outside of the Services (for example, user accounts created on the CK-12 Platform by students using their personal email addresses shall be deemed excluded from this definition). The Parties agree as follows:

Student Records means any written or recorded information concerning a student by which a student may be individually identified, and which Purpose Prep maintains. They may include, but are not limited to, the following: basic identifying information, academic transcript, attendance records, health records, performance scores on standardized assessments, disciplinary records, and records from previous schools. Recorded information maintained by a staff member for his or her exclusive use, or his or her substitute, shall not be considered a part of the student records.
