Subject Well means each well (whether now existing or hereinafter drilled) on the Subject Leases in respect of which Grantor owns any interest or is entitled to any of the Minerals production or the proceeds therefrom (whether directly or indirectly by virtue of the effect of any farmout or farmin provisions or other provisions).

  • Each such assignment shall identify each Subject Well covered thereby by name, location and API number.

  • Without limitation of the foregoing, prior to commencement of drilling operations on any Subject Well, El Paso will obtain a drilling title opinion or, in the case of a drillsite which is held by production, conduct such other title review and related due diligence as would be consistent with sound oil and gas field practices for the location and nature of such drillsite and related Subject Well.

  • In connection with any such conveyance or permanent cessation of production, Grantee shall, on request, immediately prior to such event, execute, acknowledge, and deliver to Grantor a recordable instrument (reasonably acceptable to Grantor) that terminates and releases the applicable Net Profits Interest (and the Overriding Royalty Interest if applicable) with respect to any such portion of the Subject Interests or Subject Well, as applicable, to Grantor.

  • Nothing herein contained shall obligate El Paso to drill or complete any Subject Well, to continue to operate any Subject Well, or to operate or maintain in force or attempt to maintain in force any of the Subject Leases when, in El Paso's reasonable opinion, such well or Subject Lease is not economical.

  • Each Assignment shall be made effective on or before the date of first production from the Subject Well under instrument in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit C.
