Substance Use definition

Substance Use or “substance abuse,” means the use of any mood− altering substance in a manner that interferes with, or poses a risk of interfering with, an individual’s educational, vocational, health, behavioral, financial, legal, or social functioning.
Substance Use means anytime someone consumes alcohol or other drugs.
Substance Use means the excessive use of drugs or alcohol in a manner that causes harm to oneself or others.
