Supervising Authority definition

Supervising Authority has the same meaning as “Regulator” as defined in POPIA, being the Information Regulator established in terms of section 39 of POPIA.
Supervising Authority shall have the meaning as set out in this Schedule 7.
Supervising Authority means the County Executive or the County Legislature, in accordance with the County Charter and Administrative Code. In the case of units which are not supervised by either the County Executive or the County Legislature, such as the Board of Elections, the Director of Human Resources will serve as the Supervising Authority.
